Giants interested in Yankees’ Matsui

Matsui is a good player, 10-20 HR with good batting average and okay defense. However, he just finished arthroscopic right-knee surgery last month, and he is becoming 34 year old. Moreover he costs $13 million per season.On the plus side for the Giants, Hidecki would be a big draw for San Francisco’s large Asian-American population.
