Happy Slip aka Christine
That quote up there is almost always said at the end of every Happy Slip video. Happy Slip’s video channel on youtube has become one of the most watched channels on the popular streaming video site and for good reason. She’s funny. Really funny. A good friend of mine actually turned me on to Happy Slip’s videos. I used to only use youtube to watch rare kung fu fight scenes and I had never watched any of the original content on there. But lo and behold I became a fan only after watching one video. Which was this one:
What I think is really cool about Happy Slips vids is the pure simplicity of them. For the most part she plays every single character in the vids. She plays herself, her mom, her dad, aunt and a bunch of other characters too. And all she has to work with is a simple mini-dv camcorder and an laptop. Just goes to show that you don’t need fancy equipment to make people laugh.
