Extraordinary Pantene Commercial
For some reason Thai commercials have been at the forefront of narrative advertising. The Thai Life commercials were viral hits on most video streaming websites because they effectively told emotional and involving stories in less then 2 minutes. Here’s the best example of these commercials: “Daddy”
Now Pantene has released a Thai commercial for there latest shampoo. But this commercial is more like a short film. And this short film is better then about 90% of the short films on many video streaming websites. US ad agencies can learn a thing or two from these commercials. Just watch it and prepare to be blown away!

yeah well, having a Gi-normous budget helps too
seriously though, how much does a bottle of that stuff cost in Thailand? Seems like a frivolous use of client’s $$$ to create an ad about shampoo. have you seen this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VqBy6TgYxTU
