“I Wore My Daughter’s Uniform” Contest
Recently on the popular show Gakkou e ikou (Let’s Go to School) they had a “I Wore My Daughter’s Uniform Contest”, which is a beauty contest for mothers of junior high and high school girls, who wore their daughter’s school uniform. In Japanese culture, many school girl moms wear their daughter’s uniform for laughs, but sometimes it can be quite surprising how convincing they look. In this episode moms compete against each other to see who is the most convincing school girl. Trust me, there’s no way you can tell after watching the video. These girls…ladies…I mean are in their 30’s or 40’s. It’s almost scary haha. The new 40 can seriously be the new 15???? Video here.
